About BitLocker

This method requires a computer that has a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) that is enabled and active. A TPM is a chip in your computer that only processes encrypted cryptographic keys. Once BitLocker is fully configured, your drive will not be available until Windows can locate and use your unique TPM to access the encrypted disk. If you try to enable BitLocker and Windows tells you that it can't find a TPM, you either don't have one or it needs to be enabled in the BIOS. Turn on BitLocker

Note that enabling BitLocker will necessitate local administrator access on the PC. If your account does not have enough rights, please contact BLR for help.
